The rationale for the deal is 100% strategic. In a rapidly competitive mobile video landscape, we wanted to align ourselves with a partner who has largely complementary assets, who shares our vision for improving the mobile advertising ecosystem and who can help us realize our vision for AdColony even faster.
We’re happy to say that we found that partner in Opera.
The AdColony brand and company will remain as an independent entity, with continued focus on developing innovative video monetization and advertising products, extending our leadership position in both brand and performance advertising as well as providing the best customer service in the industry.
