We’re proud to be part of this week’s news that shook up the Street: Opera’s Q3 revenues were up 84 percent year-over-year – up to $138.8 million. But the bigger news is that the revenue growth makes the combined Opera Mediaworks and AdColony network the largest independent mobile ad network in the world!
Opera Mediaworks acquired AdColony in the midst of Q3, and has seen a strong contribution from us already, as close to half of the company’s revenue now comes from mobile video. When combined with AdColony properties, our joint reach influences 1 billion consumers. This post from Opera Mediaworks highlights some key stats from earnings, and here’s a quick quote from our CEO Will Kassoy that sums it all up:
“We’re thrilled to see the acquisition between AdColony and Opera Mediaworks sync together to improve the position of both companies. Our goal is to drive mobile video globally, and with Opera we have seen our platform generate record revenues, support healthy profits and further push Opera Mediaworks as a prevailing mobile ad tech company.”
