App Strategy Workshop: Keeping Monetization in Mind

Creating a great app isn’t easy, and making one that is profitable is often even more of a challenge. To help developers by providing the latest app strategy insights, AdColony is partnering with the Application Developers Alliance and several other leading mobile organizations to host an App Strategy Workshop this May in San Francisco.

Taking place from 3pm to 7pm PST on Thursday, May 7th at the W Hotel in San Francisco, the ADA’s App Strategy Workshop will feature industry experts, industry startups, publishers, and developers exploring the latest mobile strategies.

The event will feature numerous candid discussions and informative presentations, including a session on monetization joined by AdColony’s Chief Product Officer David Kurtz. The panel, entitled “Keeping Monetization in Mind:  How Advertising Fits in Your Apps,” will discuss how app publishers can capitalize on mobile user engagement to generate revenue in a way that makes sense for the app. In particular, the panelists will discuss user empathy, monetization strategies, and the surge of native video advertising for developers.

Other session topics at the event will cover the art of building and publishing mobile apps, mobile advertising implementation secrets, and advice for pitching and partnering with carriers.
