The power of sight, sound, and motion to illicit consumer engagement is undeniable. Thus, it is not surprising that a recent Digital Video Advertising Report by Business Insider reported that mobile video advertisements performs over 18 times better than display for driving clicks.
What is interesting, however, is how AdColony mobile videos compare to the industry average.
According to the report and data collected from Google’s Rich Media Gallery, mobile video advertisements enjoy a 1.09% average click-through rate. (Display ads only garnered a 0.06% CTR, comparatively.)
However, average CTR for AdColony videos for the same time period was considerably higher. Specifically, AdColony videos have a 39.45% higher CTR than industry benchmarks for video advertisements, also making it over 25 times more effective than display.
What’s driving this benchmark shattering performance? It comes down to delivering the right message in the right context to the right user while maintaining a high quality user experience. As Rich Raddon, cofounder of Zefr stated in a recent Fast Company article, “when the right ad is served against the right content, it clearly creates a compelling value for a brand.”
With data driven look-alike targeting and Instant-Play™ HD video technology, AdColony has been able to drive industry leading CTRs by delivering highly targeted and video ads to the right users at the right moment.
