Gaming for Gamers at Pocket Gamer Connects London

Next week, the AdColony EMEA team will be heading to London for the first Pocket Gamer Connects conference of 2016, where our very own Andrew French will lead a workshop entitled “Gaming for Gamers” in the Mobile Games University Track.

About the Session
The Gaming for Gamers session will take place at 1:50pm on Tuesday, January 19th. The workshop will explore how gameplay and user experience affect a publisher’s approach to market by examining two hit titles: Best Fiends and Vikings: War of Clans. Panelists will include:

  • Sebastian Goldt – Senior Online Marketing Manager, InnoGames
  • James Russell – Head of Game Design, MiniClip
  • An Vu – User Acquisition Lead, Rovio

Mobile Games University
The Mobile Games University track at Pocket Gamer Connects London is a new track dedicated to providing more hands-on advice and practical workshops in the art of making and marketing mobile games.

About Pocket Gamer Connects
Pocket Gamer Connects conferences examine the mobile games industry at both the macro and micro level. On the macro level, PG Connects explores the global game publishing strategies and opportunities, focusing on the most interesting markets and hottest topics. On the micro level, the events look at the process f game making, covering everything from creativity & production to sustainability and pairing passion projects with realistic business models. PGC events take place each year in London, Bangalore, San Francisco, and Helsinki.
