Last week, the InterContinental Singapore hosted the Mob-Ex Awards, one of the top awards in the Asia-Pacific region! These awards reward companies that push creative and technological limits to achieve success in mobile marketing.

GOLD: Pond’s Gains Ground in Indonesia (Unilever) — Best Campaign: Location-Based Marketing
This interactive campaign made use of location-targeted mobile technology and outdoor media to educate women about the pollution in the environment they unknowingly face every day. This integrated multichannel campaign was a huge success, reaching over 12 million!
BRONZE: Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – Mobile Video Innovation Makes a Blockbuster — Best Campaign: Innovation
This powerful campaign leveraged AdColony’s Aurora™ HD Mobile Video, Instant Play technology, and dynamic end cards to create a buffer-free user experience, where audiences were guided through a virtual treasure hunt, collecting prizes and building a custom trailer along the way. An engagement rate 50 times higher than global benchmarks and a viewable completion rate 3 times higher than Moat industry benchmarks is definitely something to be proud of.
