Last week, MMA hosted another forum in Istanbul, Turkey along with the Smarties Dinner Gala, which turned out to be a huge success! Hosted at Swissotel The Bosphorus, the event brought together marketing experts to share best practices and discuss the future of the industry.
The Forum
The Forum is the perfect place for professionals in the industry to share their knowledge, but it’s also a great place to meet with other thought leaders. Thanks to AdColony’s networking area, connecting with others at the event was super easy.
As for sessions, our very own Head of Growth & Client Solutions for EMEA and LATAM , Burak Vardal, partnered with Co-Founder of On Device Research, Alistair Hill, for an informative discussion titled “Get in the (mobile) game!” During this session, Vardal and Hill presented research on how the mobile gaming community poses a unique opportunity for advertisers to engage.
Vardal explained that from 2017 to 2018, digital ad spend increased by 14%, while mobile in-game ad spend increased by 27%. He stated “Not only in terms of investment but also in terms of creative opportunities, mobile gaming is a new medium.”
