Event Preview: GDC Summer 2020

Posted Jul 27, 2020

GDC is going to look a little different this year, but we are just as excited for all the fantastic gaming content, networking, and more! Taking place August 4-6, 2020, GDC Summer will be an all-digital Game Developers Conference experience featuring multi-disciplinary educational and inspirational talks alongside high-quality technical content.

This year, AdColony is hosting a virtual talk with noted privacy attorney Alan Chapell, of Chapell and Associates, to discuss the best ways to stay compliant with today’s privacy standards while still making great games. Check out details for the talk below and secure your GDC Summer tickets. We hope to “see” you there!

In the past five years, the concept of “privacy” has gone from something mobile game developers could handle with a little common sense and some basic precautions, to something with concrete legislation from two of the top five economies in the world, and more every month.

As the consumer privacy-minded mobile ad marketplace, AdColony thought this was the perfect moment to examine privacy for mobile developers and share some best practices and philosophies.
