HAMBURG, GERMANY–(July 18, 2017) – AdColony, the world’s largest independent mobile advertising platform, has new management in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. Chief Financial Officer Tobias Glowienka and Chief Commercial Officer Jens Oberbeck will form a dual leadership team, with both taking the position of Managing Director.
Glowienka has been with the company since the end of 2011, most recently as the Director of Finance and Operations in Germany. Prior to this, the graduate business manager was employed as a financial controller at Xing AG.
For two years, Oberbeck has headed the commercial division at AdColony in Germany. Prior to joining AdColony, Oberbeck worked as the Managing Director for Ad Pepper Media and as a General Manager at InMobi.
Glowienka and Oberbeck have played an important role in the operational business of AdColony over the last few years as part of the management board and are now contributing significantly to the future global growth of the company in the joint management role.
Glowienka and Oberbeck succeed Jascha Samadi, the founder of Apprupt (now AdColony DACH), who is leaving the company to devote himself to a new business endeavor.
The naming of the new management duo also concludes the rebranding of Opera Mediaworks to AdColony in the DACH region.

By unifying the advertiser and publisher businesses worldwide under one brand, we position ourselves as the leading platform for high-quality mobile advertising, ” says Jens Oberbeck.
“Together, we aspire to help our customers reach their advertising goals and publishers achieve optimal monetization revenues, but also develop the mobile advertising market in the DACH region,” Tobias Glowienka adds.
