It’s 2019 and advertisers that still haven’t placed importance on brand safety are few and far between. It is imperative that their media partners demonstrate their efforts in providing trust and transparency. As a commitment to being a brand-safe partner, AdColony has once again received the Digital Trading Standards Group (DTSG) Brand Safety certificate and seal by JICWEBS, an independent UK organization that sets best practice standards for trusted online ad trading. The DTSG is an industry body of representatives from across the digital advertising landscape around the United Kingdom. By offering the Brand Safety certification, the DTSG aims to significantly reduce the risk of misplacement of advertising across the digital trading ecosystem.
The approval process included an independent verification by ABC, an industry-owned auditor for media products and services, to ensure that AdColony followed DTSG Good Practice Principles, which was the basis for the certification. These guidelines were created to significantly reduce the risk of the misplacement of advertising on digital media properties, uphold brand safety, and protect the integrity of digital advertising.

JICWEBS (Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards) defines best practice and standards for digital ad trading in the UK and our mission is to deliver recognized trust and transparency to the market.
