Last week, AdColony jetted into Amsterdam to attend Casual Connect Europe, one of the go-to events for mobile gaming.
The 3-day conference showcases the latest advancements in the mobile games world whilst laying foundation and actively supporting a vibrant community of gaming evangelists.
Over 2000 execs over 3 days bustled into the former stock exchange, Buers van Berlage in central Amsterdam. The AdColony stand occupied prime position in the room and hosted our latest show reel of performance case studies.
The AdColony team, made up chiefly of the EMEA office plus top mobile lads Ian and Alex from the US were out in full force, catching up with existing clients such as Goodgame studios and SocialPoint and also forming new relationships. Thorbjorn Warin, Director of Monetization EMEA, hosted to an exciting panel formed of leaders from Ubisoft, Miniclip and Rovio. Discussions centered on ‘how best to montetize in app and manage in game advertising.’
Away from the conference and with maximum disregard for blood pressure and waistlines: the team ate through approximately 12.5 kilos of prime Argentinian, prime cut steak. Needless to say the proverbial steaks were raised. . . as well as a few bottles of crisp and some not so crisp beer!
