First up on our Casual Connect calendar of events this year was Casual Connect Europe!
We shipped off several members of our EMEA group to Amsterdam last week along with a couple of our California-based publishing experts to round off the team. They had a great time at the Beurs van Berlage, a former stock exchange turned event venue.
Thanks to our prime spot in the expo hall, our booth was bustling non-stop!
Our central location was ideal for meeting with potential clients and catching up with current friends and customers.
To make everyone feel welcome, the booth was adorned with sofas, swag, and even a couple of charging stations when batteries were running dry.
The highlight of our trip was definitely when our own Paul West, Head of Performance EMEA, held a session about the top app install marketing trends from the top 100 grossing mobile publishers. We had a great turnout, and numerous session attendees approached us at our booth after the session to discuss performance advertising. It was wonderful to see how many people are placing value in video for 2016. Excellent job, Paul!
After hours, the event hosted so many attendees in Amsterdam that some of the post-conference parties had to turn away guests. However, that didn’t stop us from having a good time!
All in all, we had fun at Casual Connect Europe, and are looking forward to next year’s event in Berlin. Cheers!
